Global Outreach Program (GOP):

IDEA's Global Outreach Program is a free year-round program designed for American institutions who want to increase global awareness among their target audiences and promote their academic programs through IDEA's offices worldwide. The GOP screens, recruits, and prepares international students for admissions at institutions who participate in the program.

IDEA's Global Outreach Program offers colleges and universities several cost-free benefits: 

•  Year-round recruiting services through IDEA's worldwide offices (currently in 25 countries throughout Latin America , Europe and Asia).

•  Complimentary participation in IDEA's Annual International Summer Program in the U.S. where institutions can give a presentation in front of 300 qualified international candidates. The program will take place this year at the following locations:

• July 13-15, 2007 Barry University Miami Shores, Florida
• July 18, 2007 Southeastern University Lakeland, Florida
• July 20-22, 2007 Barry University Miami Shores, Florida

•  Counsel students and their families about the benefits of attending your institution.

•  IDEA screens, recruits, and prepares international students for admissions all year round.

•  Student File: each partner institution receives a file on each prospect with completed applications, transcripts, TOEFL and SAT exam scores, personal essay, resume, and letters of recommendations in addition to any institutional requirements.

•  Student F1 visa counseling and support through application process.

•  Year round support and follow-up. IDEA's College Relations Department will monitor each student's progress to ensure proper transition into campus life.
