IDEA International Summer Program:

The IDEA Summer Program is a two-week summer program for talented international candidates (men and women) interesting in finding a U.S. college/university for their undergraduate studies. Approximately 300 candidates from more than 10 countries will participate in the program this year, coming to the U.S. from July 12-23, 2007 , to see what life is like on campus. The program will take place at three different universities in Florida this year and prospective students will stay on campus, take classes, participate in the sport of their choice (soccer, tennis, golf and basketball), meet recruiters/admissions representatives from colleges and universities all over the U.S. , participate in community/social activities, as well as visit different parts of the state. More than 50 institutions take part in the summer program every year for the purpose of recruiting fine young people to their respective institutions.

Program's objective: to provide international candidates with a unique multi-cultural learning experience as well as provide American institutions dedicated to an intercultural development program exposure to fine candidates who are prepared for admissions.

Presentation cycle: Colleges/universities who participate in the IDEA program are allowed a 20-minute presentation of their institution to international candidates at the summer program. The presentation cycle provides a wonderful promotional opportunity for American institutions who want face-to-face contact with qualified international candidates, but who don't have the time or budget for overseas trips. We bring the qualified candidates to you.
